Claire Adams (she/her)

SENIOR ANALYST, OFFICE OF KNOWLEDGE & PRACTICE, CENTRE FOR DIALOGUE

Claire Adams (she/her) is originally from Scotland and moved to the unceded and ancestral territories of the xÊ·mÉ™θkÊ·É™yÌ“É™m (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and sÉ™lilwÉ™taɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations, also known as Vancouver, in 2017.

 

Claire has an array of experience from professional, academic and volunteer roles in communications, public engagement, knowledge exchange, and research. She holds a joint honours MA from the University of Glasgow in English Literature and Political Science, and is currently working towards her Master of Urban Studies from Simon Fraser University.  She is passionate about the potential of equitable engagement practices to transform public policy. At the Centre, Claire supports the Office of Knowledge and Practice in building capacity and creating systemic change in the fields of dialogue and participatory democracy.

 

In her spare time she enjoys riding her bike around the city, reading about urban planning, and spending time with her partner and her daughter.
