RENOVATE THE PUBLIC HEARING:
Innovators Forum Report

In March 2023, RPHI virtually hosted a two-day ‘Innovators Forum’, convening people and organizations most impacted by the public hearing process to discuss what works, what doesn’t, and what can be done to reform the public hearing process. The intention was to convene folks across BC municipalities for a dialogue about their experiences and points of view on the public hearing process. Topics discussed across the two forums included policy and legal decisions, local solutions, alternative outcomes, impacts, barriers and possible solutions.

The Innovators Forum Report summarizes and explores the discussions and key themes that emerged over the course of the Innovators Forum.
