Karis is a writer and content creator from Vancouver with experience in diverse communications roles at non-profits and charitable foundations. With a Master of Media in Journalism and Communications from Western University and a BA in International Development and Political Science from Dalhousie University, she specializes in using writing, design and media to tell human stories, distill complex information, build stronger communities and amplify diverse voices. She also enjoys hiking the trails around Vancouver, thrifting, and hanging out with her foster dogs.
